DESCRIPTION
View Matrix Inventory The Toyota Matrix combines the style of a sports car and the functionality of a small SUV with the affordability of a compact sedan. The Matrix is available in three front-wheel drive trims, Base, S and XRS. It is also avaialble in one all-wheel drive trim (S). It is powered by a 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine found in the Base trim that produces 132 horsepower; all other trims come with a 158-hp 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. Transmissions include a five-speed manual, four-speed automatic and a five-speed automatic with manual shift control. Standard safety features include Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with integrated traction control, anti-lock disc brakes with brake assist, front side-impact airbags, front and rear curtain airbags, front active head restraints and a tire pressure monitoring system. New in 2010, Vehicle Stability Control (VSC) with integrated traction control is now standard on all trim levels.
