I have purchased around 10 to 12 cars in my lifetime. This was the easiest process I've ever been a part of...and it's not close. If you're buying used from this dealership, definitely seek out Bob. He was literally a joy to work with and the best test drive ever. Also enjoyed our experience with Efren and Darrick.
Very professional and courteous. Bob Pearson was well informed and patient as we reviewed the car purchase options. We did a realistic and rational test drive to understand the vehicle performance. Bob Pearson's follow up was great, and he made himself available during the sales process as well as after the sale was complete. I would recommend working with Bob Pearson in the future.

Fantastic experience at this dealership from the moment that I pulled up and met Bob Pearson. I had made an appointment to come in and look at a used vehicle and Bob made sure that the car was clean and ready when I arrived. He provided a great overview of the car, the dealership, and the no gimmicks policy. Test drive was like no other. Israel and Efren were also stellar. I reached out to them for a 4Runner that was in stock but before I see it, it was sold. Jasmin Munoz emailed me then we spoke over the phone and agreed to reach out to her within a week for the new allocation. Today I called, they got the 4Runner and I can see it online but she wasn't aware it is coming to them which is fine but then she said they will only sell to customers within 10 miles radius and I am 20 miles from them. Started the online purchase that Toyota offers at some dealers. Dealer reached out to me the next day I let them know when I would be in, they greeted me and we sat down and discussed everything. Took a road-test and completed the transaction. Total time spent was 2 hours. That was excellent as at some dealers they try to keep you there all day. 100% Transparent is their motto. The actions of the dealership and their employees say something different. After weeks of constant communication (sales rep even contact me to confirm I was still interested in vehicle), they sold a vehicle from under me. I offered to put a deposit down too! When I called to find out why they did not honor their agreement, the manager told me it was because of where I lived. This is a called geographical discrimination. Obviously the Alf family does not practice what they preach!
Friendly, helpful and efficient. I will buy from them again when the time arises for me to do so. I will definitely recommend to friends and family! Bob Pearson is great!

I recently purchased a used midsize pickup truck from St. Charles Toyota, and the experience went smoothly from start to finish.. Bob Pearson, the sales assonate who took care of the transaction, was kind enough to deliver the vehicle to our home since a trade-in was not part of the sale.
The people at this dealership really care about making sure you are happy with the car you are buying. They give you all of the information and are incredibly friendly.
Negotiated a deal via emails with Molly. Somehow during the tornado of paperwork and signatures, the dealership mysteriously added $2000. When confronted, GM Steven Alf admitted it and offered to make up for it by letting me buy a remote start at cost. In short, they don't just steal money, they admit to it and instead of returning the stolen funds, allow you to purchase more. They should lose their dealer license. Neither the dealer, the st charles cops nor toyota corporate helped. I have all the emails. He wrote 'feel free to contact bbb'.

Ordered a set of mud gaurds for my Camry 2-3 weeks ago. Made an appointment a few days later over the phone to have them installed. Called today (the day before the appointment) to verify the time. No appointment in the system. I guess they are getting a set of mudguards back then, and I'll find another dealer that actually does what they are supposed to do.

I went in to the dealership stating my speakers on the driver side was stat-icky and was cutting in and out. I was told that it was corroded wires. They didn't even go as far as to check the speakers as I was told that this was a common issue in the Corolla. I found the staff to be helpful and respectful and, I believe, fair with us. Andrew, the New Vehicle Product Specialist, and his manager, Chris, let us take all the time we needed without being pushy. Mark in Internet sales, was friendly and informative. My last experience in a dealership was nine years ago and not very pleasant. Buying a car at St. Charles Toyota was 1000 times better. Very low pressure with knowledgeable staff who gave us a great price. I would definitely recommend buying here.
My maintenance light went in and I was in the area of the dealership on Saturday. I stopped in without appointment and thomas was quick to greet me and ask if he could help. I asked if they could help me, he checked and asked if I had 45 minutes to wait. They got it in,checked it over reviewed the inspections and washed it in the 45 minutes he stated. About as quick as I could image for oil change and tire rotation without notice. I would suggest trying his service team out. He was very courteous to us.
This is a great place with up front pricing. There's no back and forth or waiting while the sales person "checks with his manager" on the price. There's no bs. Rob is a manager there (new vehicle) and treated me great. In full disclosure I didn't end up buying a car there (I ended up going with a used highlander from a different no haggle Toyota dealership that had what I wanted in stock) but I would still recommend checking them out.

The other Derek in Financial Dept is also very helpful, going thru each option clearly with us without playing any tricks. I had a horrible experience at this dealer. Like Sarah H's experience, I brought my car in for service and due to negligence St Charles Toyota created a whole problem. I went in with three lights on on my dash. They ran diagnostics, did an oil change and some recall work on the rear suspension. I came in with my 25 year old son to test drive a prius and to buy it. Were treated so poorly we felt as if they did not even want to sell us a car. the quote they gave us seemed very high. Intersting, we bought the same prius in Lincoln Park in the City for THOUSANDS less than the quote St Charles gave us.
I am furious because we are loyal repeat customers. WE have bought at leat 4 vehicles from this dealership.

Ray Miller was friendly, knowledgeable and honest. He understood my needs and treated me fairly and made me feel comfortable at this family dealership. I would recommend Ray for your next new or used vehicle. Israel was the finance manager and he was quick and efficient while dealing with the paperwork. No pressure from the time I arrived till the time I picked up my vehicle.

Both Michael Elf (owner's son0 and Ron Blum Service Manager are very unprofessional. Both these men treat customers poorly. Workmanship is questionable. Did work and did not stand by their work. After being treated poorly and told to take my business some where else - I did. I would like to report, I took my business to Schaumburg Toyota. Very nice on the phone. Great service. Wanted to buy 2 toyotas with trade ins. Their attitude was take it or leave it. At one point when I called back the next day to discuss just the one toyota and options (net) take one with fewer options, the salesperson left a message saying we are so far apart ($2,000) - without waiting for me to mention the one with fewer options. He said "good luck, doesn't look like this will work". Didn't look up trade-in values for old cars. As the women, their salesperson would not shake my hand or address me.

If you're lucky, Tony will be the first person you deal with when you come in for service. He is both knowledgeable and a good guy to get the straight scoop from. Most service items have been dealt with in a professional manner. When a question has arisen the greeter (I know there's a better way to describe them but I can't think of it) has resolved in to my satisfaction. Have been bringing my Celica here for many years and am very satisfied with the service provided. Will probably but my next car from this dealer.
I bought a brand new 2010 Toyota Prius and before I hit 20,000 miles I had to replace all four tires. I paid for that. Now my car has 60K miles on it and the drive unit went out. Because the warranty is only 3 yrs/36k miles they are refusing to help in any way. I don't feel if I buy a brand new car I should have to worry about putting $3k into it.
